White Noriker gelding in best place - Anyone looking for something special will appreciate this 18-year-old boy. His height is approx. 1.58 m. He is a medium-weight Noriker type, one of the rare white-born Norikers. Despite his age, this boy is not an old dog and really appreciates being kept busy. He was ridden normally (mainly cross-country) until I became ill.
Unfortunately, due to illness, I now have to give up my "dream pony" and am looking for a special person who appreciates this beautiful and stately appearance with his sensitive, good-natured, friendly and open-minded nature and would like to have a lot of fun with him.
I am giving him away as a one-man horse because he really enjoys the attention of "his" person. He does not appreciate a change with several caregivers. I tend to see him with a female rider. With men, it's a matter of sympathy for him, as he probably had bad experiences with them before my time and some of them frighten or unsettle him. You would have to look at each individual case.
My horse man is dog and small animal friendly.
Not a beginner's horse! He is reliable with a confident person, but a very insecure or anxious person will also unsettle him due to his sensitive nature.
As is typical for cold-blooded horses, he can be stubborn from time to time. On the other hand, a confident rider who can assert himself fairly and show him the way will have a loving and loyal leisure buddy who will go through thick and thin with him! He can be ridden alone or in a group.
He has been with me for 12 years now. During this time he has never been seriously ill - not a single colic, no laminitis; we have rarely seen the vet. His teeth have been checked regularly and corrected if necessary.
His only shortcoming is that he suffers from sweet itch. That's why he always needs his eczema or fly blanket from spring to late fall, then it's manageable. He is now also grateful for being covered in the cool and wet seasons.
This beautiful horse is currently barehoof - due to his good hoof growth, his hooves are currently trimmed every 4 weeks. However, he needs hoof boots for rides. He puts them on and takes them off very well. Without them, he is otherwise very sensitive in the terrain and stumbles on hard or stony ground.
This handsome horse is familiar with both open stables and stalls. It is important for him to have enough exercise and, ideally, to be fed hay 24 hours a day, as he does not like longer breaks from eating at all.
Most of the time he was out and about as a cross-country horse, which still suits him very well today, and over the years he has developed into a great leisure partner and "bush horse" with whom you can have a lot of fun. That's why I'd like to find a rider for the future who will continue to take him out into the countryside. I don't see him doing most of his work in the arena. However, he does have a lot of fun in between ground work, e.g. with dual activation. He participates well and is very eager and willing to learn.
The boy comes to his new owner with his equine passport and certificate of ownership.
There is a possibility that he will stay in his current stable. Here he is currently in a box with daily exercise. The stable has a large sand arena and a small exercise arena. There is a great riding area all around.
I have a wide range of accessories for the boy, which can be purchased by arrangement.
This is not a distress sale. The boy will only go if everything fits. In this case the price is negotiable. No dealers, no riding schools!
In order to save him from having to go on a riding tour, I charge EUR 40 for a trial ride, which will of course be offset against the purchase price.
