Good Noriker gelding - Brave and fearless Noriker gelding
Gimbel is an absolutely lovely gelding who is always up for fun and learns very quickly and willingly. He loves to be encouraged and challenged. He is confident at the walk and trot, but is not yet fit enough to canter (he simply lacks the space to find his balance in our small arena). When tasks are difficult for him, he never gets angry, he doesn't mount, he doesn't buck and he doesn't go through. Gimbel is very friendly at the farrier and well-behaved at the vet and physio. He has also been used as a therapy horse, which he obviously enjoyed. He already has some experience in clicker training and we can well imagine that he would also be up for any tricks and circles. I have also ridden him out in a group, where he fearlessly went every way. He is really cool in ground work and forgives mistakes. He is being sold because the chemistry between him and me is not right. He was actually intended as a first horse for my child, but we realized that he wasn't as happy as he could be with his small workload. He wants to please and he wants to work. He needs a confident partner who communicates clearly with him and doesn't shy away from his size and imposing nature. We could also well imagine him being available for knight shows and performances of all kinds.
He goes barehoof, even in the field, and his hooves have been trimmed every six weeks. Important vaccinations such as tetanus have all been given in good time and he has been seen by the dentist regularly.
During his time with me, he has not shown any typical breed problems such as moulting, mange, thrush, eczema, CPL, sarcoids or melanomas
