Arabian gelding, Arabian half-breed - If everything fits, I would like to sell my gelding.

A few "hard facts" about him:
- 13 years old
- 1.55 tall
- gray with trout spots
- stable type, strong joints
- regular osteopathic check-ups, his teeth are checked once a year by a horse dentist
- good, firm hooves (bare hooves possible - except for many cobblestones or plastic paddock slabs)

A few "soft facts":
- is very playful
- tends to rank in the upper third, but is initially reserved
- has a lot of go
- is very intelligent, understands new exercises immediately
- does not like rain
- is a slight stomach patient and is prone to slight stomach ulcers if there is constant unrest in the herd or other stress (I have treated him very well with Gastrogard so far) - thank goodness he is completely colic-free - I had a gastroscopy a few weeks ago to clarify this again

Most people have probably read this far, but here is a detailed text about him and my reason for selling him.
I have owned it for 5 years. The first two years were exhausting for me because he is not the right type of horse for me.

I've almost always stayed in the stable with him, in spring I've always wanted to venture "out" in the last few years, but we don't fit together at all. He wants to run, he wants to gallop a lot and brings a lot of speed with him - that intimidates me. Unfortunately, I'm too timid in the terrain for that.
And that's my main reason for giving him up: I want someone for HIM who will also give him what makes him happy. Gallop.

The second reason is, as hard as it is, we never really got together - he really does everything for his human, but unfortunately he's not the right horse for me.

We've achieved a lot together in the last few years: we've been on extreme trails, incorporated free jumping for gymnastics, I've ridden him regularly with a neck ring and taken lessons irregularly.
We've started doing some classical work in hand, training on the platform and on the teeterboard, free work, equikinetic and long rein work/driving from the ground.

He currently stands in a paddock box at night and in an open stable with other geldings during the day. However, a 24/7 open stable would be ideal for him. He will only be placed in a good open stable with sufficient space and what is very important: he should only be stabled with geldings.

He is sensitive and not a horse for beginners or those returning to riding. He definitely needs a rider who rides safely and calmly, independent of the reins and with finesse.

I would love to have a look at his new home and I wouldn't mind further contact. A person with Arabian experience would suit him best.

He is a real soul and likes to come galloping forward from the farthest corner of the paddock when you call him. He is now looking for the person who can give him this love back.
