The oval, flattened tongue flat of the 16mm thick bit bar is tilted backwards (caudal) at a 45° angle. When the reins are held, it curves upright over the tongue, so that hardly any pressure is exerted on it. The reflex to pull up the tongue is reduced and the pacifier has the mildest effect of our traditional curb bits. An option for horses that are too sensitive to the slimma bar, have enough space between the upper and lower bars and a mouth gap that is not too short so that the bridle and curb bar do not touch.
