Lovely pony mare looking for final place - Keena, as we named her (which means fighter), was bought free in December from terrible circumstances. She was a shadow of her former self and only wanted to lie down and not eat. With a lot of calm, patience and care, we were able to encourage the little mouse to fight and get well within a short time. Keena will be about 18 years old and absolutely lovely. During our walks she shows herself from a dream side. She is fearless, very attentive and pays attention to her humans. Unfortunately, Keena doesn't like our gelding and there are always arguments. Keena has mutated into the lead mare here. Keena used to be driven in a carriage and was also ridden. She has slight blindness in her left eye, but this does not affect her in any way. Now she needs a caring person to slowly rebuild her muscles, work on her condition and give her time to stabilize again. I wish for a nice final place for her... because she really deserves it.
She doesn't even flinch at the farrier. She has cooperated very well with the medicine. The price is of course negotiable... but I can't give her away...
