Care share or riding share for Lusitano for hire - Giving a foster share or if everything fits a riding share for my 13 year old Lusitano for support.

My Lusitano is trained under the saddle, in lunge work, ground work, hand work, free work, Zirzensik and knows walks. He also masters small jumps on the lunge.

He is a gelding, but knows that he was a stallion for a long time (possibly a Klopp stallion) and has a strong character. Thus he tests his limits (also especially with people he is not familiar with). He is breed-typical rather temperamental, but can sometimes be lazy.
However, once you win him over, he is a super fine, motivated, highly intelligent and super sweet horse who wants to work and learn. He is very fine and sensitive about everything. In addition, he wants to do everything right.
However, due to a muscle metabolism disorder, he needs a day-dependent, careful training adapted to his condition.

Options:
GROOMING: (Approx 1-3 x a week - Anything possible except riding).
He is trained on the ground according to the principles of academic horsemanship, but also knows approaches of classical English as well as Iberian/Spanish/Baroque riding. Thus he is diversely trained.

Tasks would be:
- Horse care
- Horse movement (everything except riding - here depending on ability)
- Filling up feed bins
- equipment care

I require horse experience, willingness to learn, respectful fair treatment as well as reliability and sense of responsibility.

Price: 50,00 - 100,00 € (depending on ability and how often per week)

RIDING PARTICIPATION: (Approx. 2-4 times a week, of which 2-3 times riding is possible)
Under saddle he is trained according to academic or Iberian/Spanish/Baroque horsemanship. He is very easy to ride and reacts to the finest aids. Lessons such as lateral gaits, pirouettes, circles and piaffe have already been started under the rider, although he still shows a lot of potential for improvement. After consultation, it is also possible to train him further himself, if the riding ability for this is available.
However, he needs a saddle-firm and experienced not timid rider, because he clearly shows as soon as his limits are reached or in case of rider mistakes or wrong riding style (e.g. standing still, backwards, climbing, etc.). He is also temperamental, which is typical of the breed.

- Horse movement including riding
- Filling feed bins
- equipment maintenance

Requirements:
- not heavier than max. 80 kg
- horse experience incl. several years of riding experience
- Experience either with stallions, Iberian horses (Lusitano/PSL, PRE, Andalusian, Cruzado, etc.) and / or more temperamental or difficult horses under saddle
- Experience with academic horsemanship, baroque/Iberian horsemanship or in return the willingness to learn its principles with me.
- I also require a willingness to learn, a respectful and fair attitude as well as absolute reliability and a sense of responsibility.

Price: 150,00 - 250,00 € (depending on how often a week/riding and what ambitions are aimed at)


Various training facilities and equipment are available. Stable work is not required.
