Care participation - Seeking a Care Partner for Two Lovable Quarter Horse Geldings Do you miss spending time with horses but no longer want to ride or can’t afford to own a horse of your own? Then you might have come to the right place. I’m looking for a reliable and loving care partner for my two Quarter Horse geldings (ages 29 and 20). Neither is rideable anymore—the older one is enjoying his well-deserved retirement, and the younger one has laminitis and needs careful handling. I’m looking for someone who simply enjoys spending time with horses: grooming, cuddling, going for walks, ground work, or light exercise on the sand arena—with absolutely no obligation to ride. Experience with horses would be nice. Ideally, you used to own a horse yourself and now want to get back into the horse world without taking on the responsibility of owning your own animal. Location: A small, family-run private stable between Bachmanning and Gaspoltshofen. Since I’m the only boarder there, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. There’s a sand arena for activities, and there are beautiful trails around the stable for walks with the horses. Time commitment: 1–2 times per week, with flexible scheduling by arrangement. If you have a soft spot for older horses and are looking for a relaxed experience without the pressure to ride—or if you know someone for whom this might be a good fit—I’d love to hear from you. I look forward to hearing from you and will respond as soon as possible.
