Unfortunately I have to part with my wonderful 3-year-old Quarter Criollo mare "La Luz Buena" and I am looking for a loving new home for her in an open stable. La Luz Buena is an absolute treasure, who impresses with her extraordinary color "Grullo" and her great character. From the very first moment she showed herself to be extremely curious, eager to learn, lively and people-oriented. She quickly establishes a close bond with her people and is always friendly in her dealings with humans and horses. This charming mare is not fazed by anything - the vet, farrier or chainsaw are accepted without any problems. Nevertheless, she shows good character and has a spirit of discovery and energy. With her elegant, harmonious appearance and soft, balanced gait, she is a real eye-catcher with her eel line and fine grain on her legs. She is very social in the herd and will probably take on a more senior position later on. She is a very clever horse who learns quickly and enjoys what she does. Although she has not yet been ridden, she has already gained some experience in ground work and is easy to lead. Long walks in hand are a great pleasure when accompanied by another horse.
Her pedigree is also exceptional: her sire, the 100% NFQHA-Foundation Quarter Horse stallion "Jaz Poco Simpatico", is known for his calmness and balance. Her dam, the Criollo-Definitivo mare "AHF CRAMILLA LA ESPERANZIA", also has an outstanding pedigree. Her granddam, "AHF La Esperanzia", is a daughter of the state premium stallion "Quelen Aquilucho" from the renowned Criollo stud farm "La Primera". These lines provide an excellent genetic basis, which is also reflected in the quality of the mare. I will be happy to send you photos of the parents on request.
The breeders are the Absarokee Horse Farm in Lower Saxony, where mainly American Quarterhorses are bred. This crossbreed of American Quarterhorse also corresponds to the breed specifications of the Aztec horse breed. The Aztec, a still young and up-and-coming breed from Mexico, was bred from a cross between the Criollo-Definitivo and the NFQHA Foundation Quarter Horse. These horses are characterized by their robustness, their versatility and their willingness to work - qualities that La Luz Buena also possesses. AHF LA Luz Buena is currently 146 cm tall and is expected to grow another 2-4 cm. She is therefore more of a smaller quarter mare who is looking forward to a petite person. Health: La Luz Buena is in excellent health. She has recently had blood and stool tests (with optimal results) and her teeth have been checked. Of course, she was also regularly vaccinated against tetanus and dewormed. The farrier emphasizes the good quality of her hooves at every visit.
So far she has only known the open stable and life in a herd, which suits her very well. In my opinion, keeping her in a box would not do her any good. This wonderful horse will one day be a loyal companion for every horse person who values character, quality and a harmonious nature. Anyone who would like to see her charm and potential for themselves is cordially invited to meet La Luz Buena in person.
