Excess heat generated during physical exertion is absorbed by the breeches and returned to the human body when it cools down. This process can take place due to the direct spinning of paraffin into the highly crystalline and tear-resistant smartcelTMclima fiber: When the body is heated, the paraffin contained in the fiber liquefies and absorbs the excess body heat. The CLIMA riding breeches thus have a cooling effect at outside temperatures of up to 25°C. When it cools down, the paraffin solidifies and returns the 'stored' heat to the body. The CLIMA riding breeches therefore have a warming effect down to -8°C. If the rider is in good health, the CLIMA riding breeches can be used for physical exercise at medium activity levels between -8°C and +25°C.
