Hay bag for floor feeding in natural posture - The SLOWFEED Pro is equipped with a robust belt net with 8x8cm squares. The material of the SLOWFEED PRO is much softer and more comfortable. It consists of a kind of outdoor fabric with breathable membrane. At the same time it is waterproof and maximum tear resistant.
The material is very high quality and is used only in the original Swiss brand product. The SLOWFEED Pro in grey is similar to the SLOWFEED SF 150 in grass green. The aim is to give the horse a natural posture when eating hay. Ground feeding has a positive effect on the back muscles, as the horse spends more time with its head lowered.

On the bottom side the SLOWFEED PRO has 3 holes so that water can flow out again at the bottom.
The SLOWFEED PRO is also used by horses as a toy or as a cushion.
It is pulled together similar to the SLOWFEED SF 150 with a rope at the ends.
Just like the SLOWFEED SF150, a small bale of hay fits inside.

There are different types of closure here.

The rope can also be cut into 3 pieces of the same size to close the overlapping eyelets. Also some models of safety carabiners have proven themselves.
I strongly advise against the use of conventional karabiners, because the horse can injure its lip severely when the normal karabiner is pressed in.
That is why we use only the ropes or carabiners with screw lock or shackle.
This kind of locking technique is very safe and the danger of getting caught is reduced many times. The SlowFeed Pro can also be hung with a safety closure (in red on the pictures).
