Friendly Hafi mix mare seeks family connection in the north - Sternchen has been with us since autumn for a cure and since her allergy has quickly stabilized (she has hay allergy as well as mild sweet itch) she is now to find a new home in the north, near the coast. She quickly integrated into the new mixed herd and enjoyed her time on the fall/winter pasture very much. She is very respectful and attentive when interacting with humans and responds well to body language. Due to the onset of athrosis as well as an old tendon damage, she is looking for a horse person with a focus on ground work and a soft spot for relaxed trail rides (due to a request: no, the mare is not suitable for trail riding ! )
How does Sterni imagine her new home ?
Despite all this Sterni feels too young and fit to be put on the siding. A pure siding job is not enough for her or even counterproductive. Now and then a relaxed ride and work with her new owner on the ground would do her good. In addition, a lot of contact with her new owner and a friendly small herd. Prefers geldings, with whom she gets along great and likes to be cuddled (by humans and horses) Plus long summer pasture, in fall/winter open stable with haylage. Sterni will NOT be sold to a pure paddock or box, only near the North Sea and not to riding schools.
