Beautiful tinker mare - Hello dear ones. (buy, available) (place before price, exchange for beginner/children pony). Unfortunately I have to part with my mare Cherry with a heavy heart because we just do not find each other and I also lack the necessary time for her. Cherry is about 155cm tall and is 17 years young and very fit. She lives with me in the open stable which does her very well. She also knows box but only at night with a lot of exercise during the day. At the moment she is on a very large pasture with about 30 other horses together. Cherry is very compatible with large and small horses. Unfortunately, she has just been standing around lately because I don't have the time to take care of her the way she needs. Cherry has been with me since January 2019. She must have experienced some bad things in her previous life. She is absolutely not for beginners/beginners or unsure riders. Cherry needs someone who is willing and able to invest a lot of time and love in her. She is very sweet and calm but if she doesn't like something she tries to run away but is never vicious or anything like that. She can be loaded super and on the hanger she also drives without problems. Unfortunately, she gives her hooves only reluctantly, the farrier should be calm and loving and bring time with us it always works if we distract them with leckerlie, carrot etc then it is no problem. She is very distrustful and it takes time to gain her trust so it is hard to get her out of the pasture/paddock in the beginning as she likes to run away as soon as she sees the halter. But this settles down when you get more involved with her. She also doesn't like brushing as she doesn't like the noise of some brushes and even here she tries to run away if you do it slowly and calmly. Cherry is ridden but should first be worked only from the ground to build up confidence and to build up muscles etc. because she has not been moved for a long time and riding her is not so. She loves to be worked from the ground. If you have any further questions we can discuss all this. I am looking for someone who is aware of the task and is looking for a horse to go through thick and thin with if you care more than I do. Cherry loves to be worked from the ground.
